October - November 2025 Kenya Mission Campaign

Partnering to Equip Leaders, Strengthen Churches, and Multiply Disciples

This October and early November I will travel to Kenya for a two-part mission trip that blends church-based discipleship and marketplace ministry under the vision of Simplicity Church Network.

Part One: Eldoret – Ministry with Pastor Margaret Maheri

I will begin this mission trip in Eldoret, working alongside my longtime friend, Pastor Margaret Maheri, founder of Life Fountain Churches.

By God’s grace, Pastor Margaret planted her first church in Mumias in 1999 after an open-air crusade where nearly twenty Muslims came to Christ. Since then, she has planted churches in Langas (Eldoret), Kisii County, and Siaya County. Today, Life Fountain has seven churches, all located in slum communities or rural areas, serving the poor and marginalized.

Her ministry also includes an interdenominational Widows Fellowship in Eldoret, where women gather for encouragement, prayer, and practical support. In addition, she helps orphans and needy children receive basic education and essential needs whenever resources allow.

Recently, God opened doors for her ministry in Burundi and Uganda. During one mission in Burundi, a man was brought to a meeting in rags and madness. After prayer, God healed him instantly, and the testimony spread quickly, drawing many to hear the Gospel. Stories like these remind us of the Kingdom impact of her ministry.

Current goals for Life Fountain Churches include:

Acquiring land and constructing a permanent church building in Eldoret.
Expanding evangelism ministry across Kenya and neighboring nations.
Planting two additional churches within the next 12 months.
Strengthening the widows’ ministry and support for orphans.

While with Pastor Margaret, I will:

Teach on personal discipleship and spiritual maturity.
Walk her leaders through The Foundry discipleship program and gift it for ongoing use.
Explore other resources Simplicity Church Network can provide for equipping.

Part Two: Nakuru – Marketplace & Leadership Training with Wilfred Muraya

The second part of the trip takes me to Nakuru, where I will serve alongside Wilfred Muraya, Founder and President of Pyrowise Energy, LTD., and youth/young adult minister in his local church.

Wilfred has been one of my marketplace ministry students for seven years, and I have been discipling him weekly since early 2025 through The Foundry. Last summer, I also trained 20 young adults from his church in marketplace ministry principles.

Together we will:

Lead a 4-day intensive for business leaders and college-age young adults focused on marketplace ministry, biblical business principles, and using AI tools for Kingdom influence.
Facilitate a 2-day training for local pastors in leadership and marketplace ministry.
Strategize for 2026 discipleship pathways through The Foundry.

Why This Mission Matters

This trip is about equipping leaders to multiply disciples and extend the Kingdom in both church and marketplace contexts. Pastor Margaret is building hope among the most vulnerable in Kenya while expanding her ministry into neighboring nations. Wilfred is raising a generation of leaders who will integrate faith and influence in every sphere of society.

Together, these partnerships will impact widows, orphans, pastors, business leaders, and young adults in Kenya, Uganda, and Burundi.
