At Sky Island School of Nature and the Arts, outdoor learning is an important part of our school experience. Students regularly spend time outside for meals, activities, nature studies, collaborative projects, and community gatherings.

We are currently working to add three durable 6-foot picnic tables to create welcoming outdoor spaces where students can gather, learn, and connect.

We selected pressure-treated wood picnic tables with heavy-duty steel frames designed to withstand Arizona weather and provide years for use for our students.

Thanks to an incredibly generous donor and support from school families, we have already raised:

Major donor contribution: $1,150
Parent contributions: $117

Total raised: $1,267

Our total goal is $1,725 and we now need only $458 more to fully fund all three picnic tables.

Every contribution helps create spaces where students can build friendships, enjoy meals together, and participate in outdoor learning experiences.
