Hello! Welcome to my Givebutter Fundraising page. My name is Sarah Innes and I am a dually certified BCBA/Special Education Teacher and I will be traveling with the Global Autism Project this summer as a member of their SkillCorps® program.
Global Autism Project is a non-profit which works closely with the Autistic community to create thriving, sustainable businesses and resources that support the Autistic community. On this trip, I will be traveling with a group of professionally diverse leaders who work with or are a part of the Autistic community and are committed to making an impact in the world. This program is designed to transform the way in which we come together as humans – all over the world – to solve major social challenges. SkillCorps® is about bridging global gaps in awareness and acceptance of Autism.
Your donations empower high-need communities worldwide. By funding responsive curricula, year-round staff training, professional conferences, and partnership mentorship, we are building a global network of support for those who need it most.
So why do I want to be a part of this program?
I believe that location should never determine the quality of a child's education. My career has been defined by my work in two of the nation's leading school systems for individuals with disabilities. Having seen the life-changing results of these programs, I am passionate about taking the lessons I’ve learned and sharing them with the world. I am dedicated to enriching communities that haven't yet had the opportunity to provide this level of specialized support.
Please consider donating towards my SkillCorps® trip! Spread the word and donate! ANY amount is one step closer to reaching my goal, and is truly appreciated, so thank you in advance!
