Slant’d is an independent nonprofit publishing house that uplifts Asian American and Pacific Islander voices through art and the written word. Coming off the heels of a successful Kickstarter campaign, we're throwing a party in Los Angeles!

What to expect:

Live storytelling from Issue 06 contributors
Musical performance by Anusha Savi (hosted by Two Rooms)
DJ DLeeyo spinning 90s & 00s tracks all night
Tattoos by local AAPI artists @pokedfriedrice & @prawnesthertattoo (and temporary ones from Tattly)
Throwback craft stations (think: friendship bracelets, DIY corsages and boutonnieres)
Studio pictures by Kili Ku'uwehilani
An instant ramen bar
Food pop-ups (feat. Chimmelier Chicken & Hi-Fi Kitchen)

5:00-6:00 PM - VIP Hour (for Slant'd Cozy Creative Club members and VIP ticket holders only)

6:00 PM - Doors open to all GA ticket holders

10:00 PM - Party ends

GA tickets include: a copy of Issue 06, drink ticket, access to the ramen bar, snacks, entertainment, and craft activities.

VIP tickets (limited quantity) include: all of the perks of GA, PLUS extra drink tickets and a VIP goodie bag featuring exclusive Slant'd merch and gifts from AAPI brands, including Potli, KODO Way of the Fragrance, McWu, Bachan's, and Wonton in a Million!

VIP ticket holders will also get FREE entry to the party one hour before doors open (5-6 PM) to enjoy specialty drinks and early access to the craft stations.

In the spirit of making our events accessible, we have a limited number of volunteer spots available for local AAPIs interested in helping out with the event. In exchange for working a shift, volunteers will receive 1 comped GA ticket.
