Slay 4 A Cause™, Inc. is a nonprofit organization dedicated to becoming the beacon of hope that those battling kidney disease, from every front, so desperately need. It is the same hope Richard (Rick) Slayman offered the world through his selfless and courageous participation in groundbreaking xenotransplantation.

Rooted in lived experience and fueled by compassion, we turn pain into purpose by equipping individuals with the knowledge, tools, and confidence to raise their voices for kidney health, awareness, and prevention. Through our Slay, Save & Love Empowerment Workshops and Slay the Risk: Kidney Health Bingo, we create spaces for education, dialogue, and proactive learning, empowering individuals and communities to better understand kidney health and advocate for prevention and early detection.

Until the day comes when kidney disease no longer steals another tomorrow, Slay 4 A Cause™, Inc. stands firm in the belief that no one should face a diagnosis of kidney failure alone. Nor should anyone standalone while caring for someone navigating this disease. Our reach extends beyond kidney warriors to include caregivers, medical professionals, organizations, and researchers, all fighting this disease from every front.

Through our Kidney Warrior program, we honor and uplift individual's living with kidney disease by recognizing their strength resilience, and generosity. We provide encouragement, resources and support to help ease the burdens of their journey. Our mission is to continue Rick’s legacy transforming awareness into action and ensuring that purpose rises from pain.
