You can choose your own Sleep Out Brunswick date and location anytime between Sept 16 and Oct 16. It’s a great opportunity and activity for a neighborhood, youth group or service club to give back and join the experience.

The Sleep Out Brunswick Story

Sleep Out Brunswick is the premier fundraiser for Brunswick Partnership for Housing that asks, “Where did you sleep last night?” Participants will come together to sleep out ... in a tent, car or cardboard box ... to raise money to help put unsheltered individuals and families in Brunswick County on a path to attain affordable, permanent housing.

The main event is at Brunswick Community College in Bolivia NC. But, it’s more than a sleep out. Participants will join in an immersive Poverty Simulation© experience to discover what it could be like to live in homelessness and poverty.

Established in 2019, BPH is a nonprofit organization in Brunswick County. It provides services to unsheltered individuals and families and promotes affordable housing in the county. Using a trauma informed care approach, BPH cultivates a safe, supportive and respectful environment to empower clients in achieving their housing goals.
