What We Need

We seek your support to register as a tax-exempt 501(c)(3). Once we meet our initial Goal, we will need support in several critical components that will enable us to serve our community effectively:

1. Outreach Materials and Supplies:

- Printed Materials: We need funds to create informative brochures and flyers for distribution at local provider offices and community resource fairs. These materials will help raise awareness about the support and services Slope Cares offers.
- Resource Fairs: Participating in resource fairs requires supplies to display resource information, signage, and traveling equipment for transporting supplies, ensuring equipment is transported properly to prevent damages and care.

2. Technology and Security:

- Laptop and Software: We require a computer equipped with cyber security and office software that complies with HIPAA regulations to ensure the privacy and protection of the families we serve.
- Zoom Membership: To facilitate virtual meetings, workshops, and consultations, we need a Zoom membership.
- Website Platform and Domain: Establishing a professional online presence with a dedicated website will enable us to reach a wider audience and provide valuable resources and information, including guides on accessing special education, healthcare, and financial support services.
- Internet & Phone Service

3. Educational Courses, Training & Networking

- LinkedIn Premium Membership: LinkedIn is a one-stop resource for maximizing the efforts and collaboration needed for Slope Cares to make an impact. The membership offers unlimited access to online courses that keep our team updated, knowledgeable, and effective in supporting and advocating for children with disabilities. LinkedIn allows endless opportunities to connect with local, state, and nationwide advocates and professionals who share our mission for children and adults with disabilities.
