Last year, we had the honor of organizing a healing day for the families of Unit 8208, who tragically lost 21 brave soldiers on January 22nd while fighting in Gaza. It was a day filled with sunshine, laughter, and community—a small but meaningful effort to bring joy to families enduring unimaginable grief.
From a full-scale BBQ to a carnival with bounce houses, games, and activities for both kids and adults, the event provided a space for these families to come together, bond, and begin the slow process of healing. While we can never truly grasp the depth of their loss, it meant the world to be able to bring a little light into their lives.
Now, a year later, their pain remains. Wives are still mourning. Children are still growing up without their fathers. The grief hasn’t disappeared—but neither has their strength. These women are learning to carry on. The children are finding their way. And we want to continue walking beside them.
This year, although we’re not planning another day event, we’re raising funds to directly support the widows and children of Unit 8208—through financial assistance, gifts for the kids, and anything that can ease their burden just a little bit.
Our goal is to raise $5,000. Every dollar goes to helping these resilient families continue to heal, to rebuild, and to know that they are not alone.
Please consider joining us in this mission. Your donation—big or small—can make a lasting impact.
