For 55 years, the South Mountain YMCA has been a beacon of hope, growth, and connection for families across South Orange and Maplewood. From the first steps of a toddler in our daycare to the confident strides of a teen leader in our summer camps, the Y has been there—lifting up every child, every family, and every neighbor.

In 2025 alone, we provided $433,853 in scholarships to 346 families, ensuring no child was turned away from transformative programs like:

Our Goal

This year, we aim to raise $421,000—the highest goal among all branches in the Metropolitan YMCA of the Oranges. Every dollar helps us say “yes” to a child, and family, who needs us.
