Snow Day, a CAC Beardsley Community Farm Benefit, will be hosted at The Mill & Mine from 6-9:30 PM on February 7th, 2025. Come help us celebrate Beardsley Farm! Snow Day will feature live music, a soup contest between some of Knoxville's finest restaurants, a silent auction, and a cash bar. TICKETS: This year, we have a tiered option for Snow Day tickets. Despite Snow Day being a fundraiser, we want our ticket prices to remain inclusive. It’s not a party without our people. But if you can donate a little extra, it helps us immensely as we get ready to provide another year of food, gardens, and programming in our community. So to sum up: pay what you can! $35-Community Supporter $45-Classic Supporter $65- Snowflake Supporter Tickets include all-you-can-eat soup! Kids under 8 get in for free! A limited edition hand screen-printed Snow Day poster by local artists Ashlee Mays and Logan Syzmanowski of the Museum of Infinite Outcomes will be available at Snow Day for $25! MUSICIANS: Adeem the Artist, The Montvales, Black Atticus SOUP: This year's soup contestants include Potchke, Red Bud Kitchen, Central Creamery, The Spiffy Spud, Pasta Vivo, The Mill & Mine, The Green Room, Landing House, Yee-Haw Brewing Co., Tarik's North African, Breezy's Plant Powered, and more! Come try delicious vegetarian and vegan soups featuring local ingredients! The winner will receive a beautiful gourd award. Arrive early before soup runs out. We encourage you to bring your own reusable mug and spoon to cut down on waste! BREAD: This year's bread is generously provided by Sokno Sourdough, Small Comforts Kitchen (gluten free), and Potchke. A portion of the gluten fee cornbread will be staged at our allergy info table for those who cannot tolerate gluten contamination. Please visit us at the allergy table and we will provide you with gluten free bread. BAR: This year's bar is generously stocked by Lipman Brothers. 100% of proceeds from beer and cider go back to Beardsley Farm. SILENT AUCTION: Come bid on amazing silent auction items! Over one hundred items from dozens of Knoxville businesses will be represented. The silent auction will run online (through this website starting February 3rd) as well as in person at Snow Day from 6PM-9PM. 2025 notes: *We cannot guarantee what percentage of soups will be vegetarian vs. vegan. We let the chefs run with their creativity! *As Snow Day is an event with a focus on food, we do not require masks. However, masks are welcome.
