Rose's Café

On May 10th, 2024, Snow Approach Foundation celebrated the contributions Rose Nagy has made to our community with her and her granddaughter, Lily. With the family’s generous gift of $50,000, the dining area in our facility was permanently named Rose's Café. We wish to honor Rose and Chuck's legacy of educating the world, through Teepa Snow, about lesser-known dementias. Now, anyone who visits Snow Approach can learn more about Frontotemporal Dementia Behavioral Variant and Progressive Supranuclear Palsy.

Snow Approach Foundation, Inc., was founded in 2022 in Hillsborough, North Carolina, with the mission of developing an inclusive community that supports all forms of neurodiversity. It serves those living with changing brains or neurodiversity due to dementia, traumatic brain injury, post-stroke, developmental delay, autism, or another condition – as well as the individuals who support them. The team strives to decrease the stigma, judgement, and isolation that often occurs with brain change by offering a setting that is friendly, functional, forgiving, and familiar. Snow Approach lives its mission by providing a location for engagement, support, and education, with a reach that extends to the local community and beyond. Become a Sustaining Partner:

A sustaining donation allows us to provide activity programming, consultations, and educational resources that are complimentary, with the goal of decreasing financial barriers and increasing inclusion.

Name a Brick:

Those who contribute $1,000 receive the opportunity to have one of our walkway bricks inscribed with the name of someone special. We are building a beautiful tribute with many amazing legacies in our front path.

Name a Room:

Honor an individual or organization by naming a room in the Snow Approach Building 129. In the named room, you may determine the education, training, and legacy that would most honor them. Donations are used directly for expanding complimentary programming in our local community with the goal of creating a more inclusive community and improving brain change awareness. There are a limited number of rooms available; naming reserved for contributions of $30,000 or more.

Name the Building:

Snow Approach currently rents two buildings for our education and programming. With a significant donation, one or both buildings could be purchased, and named in honor of the individual or organization.
