Hi friends,
If you’ve ever taken one of my knife classes (new classes in December and January!) or had me sharpen your blade at a Fix-It Fair, you know how much I love the satisfaction of repair and renewal—bringing something broken or dull back to life.
That same spirit of repair is the driving force behind the Station North Tool Library (SNTL). Repair isn't just a fix; it's an essential act of care and community.
As SNTL celebrates its 12th anniversary, our community is growing faster than ever. In the last three years, our membership has doubled to over 2,500 neighbors borrowing tools, learning skills, and helping each other.
To keep up with this incredible growth, we need your help. This year, we're aiming to raise $35,000 to expand our team and space.
Your Donation Will Fund Our Growth:
Your contribution goes directly toward building the capacity we need to serve our community better:
- Hiring our first paid Lead Librarian to organize the library, repair tools faster, and support our dedicated volunteers.
- Adding a Shop Technician to maintain our workshops, support classes, and build out much-needed storage space.
If you've ever walked away from a class inspired to fix or make something, please join me in keeping that energy going! Every dollar helps keep tools accessible, skills alive, and care flowing through this community.
