State of the Field Panel Join us on March 5th, 2025, at 12:00pm CST for a virtual panel about the state of the fields of archiving & histories amid attacks on DEIA-related programs and marginalized histories. This panel will focus on how southern archivists, librarians, memory workers, museum and education professionals, and impacted community members can best respond and survive the current political landscape. We will invite our audience to share what they are witnessing in their states and how we can best share information and support each other across impacted states. Panelists: Isaac Fellman, Assistant Director at the Digital Transgender Archive, C.T. Salazar, Director of Archives at Delta State University, Ashby Combahee, Archivist with Highlander and co-founder of the Southern Memory Workers Institute, and Jose Vazquez, Communcations Director at the ACLU of Alabama.
