This 90-minute trauma-informed experiential workshop invites participants on a journey of exploration for internal resources of rest and stillness.

Through gentle embodied practices using mindfulness of the body, guided imagining, and optional objects that are associated with rest, participants will begin to explore places where their body feels rested and still.

Instead of an educational presentation, this class will focus on the body’s internal resources of rest, relaxation, and quiet.

In addition to embodied practices, this class will also include space to share and reflect. No prior experience is needed, and all participation is by invitation, at each participant’s own pace.

We have the option to use: a mug, blanket, hoodie, pillow, favorite sweater, soft socks, a specific chair or corner of the bed
