Join Us In Bringing Light to Honduras!

This August, Sustainergy Cooperative is proud to partner with SonLight Power on a self-funded mission trip to Honduras.

Together, we'll help equip three remote schools with pole-mounted solar systems, bringing electricity to villages that currently have no access to power. Reliable electricity means brighter classrooms, new educational opportunities, and a stronger future for students, teachers, and their communities.

Our mission doesn't stop with installing solar. We'll also be training local community members in solar installation and maintenance so they have the knowledge and skills to keep these systems running for years to come. By empowering local leaders, we're helping create a lasting impact that extends far beyond our week in Honduras.

We're excited to have two of our worker-owners representing Sustainergy on this mission:

Brittany DiBattista – Our Office Manager (or, as we like to call her, our Swiss Army knife!). Brittany wears many hats and helps keep everything at Sustainergy running smoothly. Her passion for serving others and building strong communities makes her an incredible part of this mission.

Lewis Connell – Our Sales & Marketing Manager and solar expert. Lewis is passionate about making clean, affordable energy accessible to everyone. Whether he's educating homeowners here at home or helping install solar systems abroad, he believes renewable energy has the power to change lives.

As worker-owners, Brittany and Lewis are committed to bringing energy efficiency and renewable energy solutions not only to the communities we serve here in Ohio, but to communities around the world. They are honored to represent Sustainergy Cooperative and be part of a project that will bring light, opportunity, and hope to families who have never had reliable electricity.
