For sixteen years, Sense of Place has featured people with unique knowledge of the Columbia River Gorge—scientists, tribal members, ranchers, authors, farmers, artists, and neighbors from across the Pacific Northwest. Together, we’ve explored the natural and cultural forces that shape this region and the histories that connect us.
