Right now, families and communities affected by earthquakes in Colombia urgently need our help. Our goal is to provide food, protection, essential supplies, and ongoing support as they begin to rebuild their lives.

Through our #SOSColombia🇨🇴 campaign, we’re asking you to please join our humanitarian response in support of the charitable organizations below. On behalf of those affected, we thank you.

ABACO

ABACO, the Colombian Association of Food Banks, coordinates one of the country’s largest food assistance and distribution networks, bringing together 26 Food Banks across Colombia.

In response to the earthquake, ABACO has activated the full capacity of its network, together with the Todos Juntos initiative, to provide immediate relief to impacted communities.

Through a humanitarian corridor, ABACO is receiving and transporting food, water, and essential supplies to the areas where they are needed most. Its nationwide reach allows the organization to mobilize resources quickly and deliver aid directly to families facing this emergency.

For more than 25 years, Colombia’s Food Banks have worked to fight hunger and support vulnerable communities. Through ABACO, that experience and infrastructure are being mobilized for the earthquake response.

Colombia Se Levanta — Presentes Corporación

Colombia Se Levanta is an initiative of Presentes Corporación created to support the long-term recovery of communities affected by the earthquake in Colombia.

With more than 43 years of disaster recovery experience, Presentes helps communities rebuild after the immediate emergency response ends.

Support may include the rehabilitation and reconstruction of homes and community infrastructure, restoring livelihoods, and providing psychosocial support when it is needed most.

Presentes has carried out this work following major disasters throughout Colombia and the region, including earthquakes in Haiti and Ecuador, as well as hurricanes and floods in Colombia.

Through Colombia Se Levanta, they will remain alongside affected communities long after first responders are gone, helping families rebuild and move forward.
