Sound It Out 2026

Close your eyes for a moment and think about the live music shows that you have attended, hearing musicians that have inspired you, and that feeling you get when you hear something familiar that makes you move or triggers a memory.  Music has an extraordinary ability to transport us, awaken memories and reconnect us with ourselves and others - RIGHT?  Now imagine a time due to unforeseen circumstances where you might not be able to experience the joy of a live performance - that my friend is why I am doing this fundraising for Sound Affects - for the people that need it most. Sound Affects brings the music to people that may feel otherwise isolated in senior and memory care facilities and groups that may not have access to live performances by providing 40+ performances per month in Northern Colorado.   Additionally they have partnered with Shine and The Lyric Cinema for a twice a month all inclusive performance that is request driven and full audience participation whether it be the chicken dance or belting out a song on stage with the band - so much joy for all!  (Video of Shine On https://www.soundaffectsmusic.org/shine-on)  Your donation helps keep these programs going and supports local and touring musicians.  Thanks You! - Katie
