For the 17th consecutive year, Space Coast Crew has done it again. Following an incredible showing at regionals, our athletes have officially qualified to compete against the absolute best in the country at the USRowing Youth National Championships.

This isn't just another regatta—this is our world stage. Our rowers aren't just representing a club; they are representing the entire Space Coast community on a national level.

Getting to Nationals requires elite speed, flawless teamwork, and relentless grit. This year, we are incredibly proud to send three phenomenal boats to compete:

Men’s U16 8+
Men’s Youth 4+
Women’s Youth 4+

The Culmination of Years of Hard Work

The standard of excellence at Space Coast Crew doesn't happen by accident. Our athletes have trained through freezing early mornings, blistering Florida afternoons, and grueling erg sessions all year long.

For our younger athletes, this is the thrilling start of their national legacy. For some of our dedicated seniors, this moment represents six years of blood, sweat, and tears coming to fruition. They have earned their seats in these boats. Now, we need to get them to the starting line.

Why We Need Your Support

While our athletes did the heavy lifting on the water, the financial heavy lifting falls on land. Nationals is an incredible opportunity, but the costs to get there are exceptionally high.

Regatta entry fees and insurance.
Safe transport of our elite racing shells and equipment to the venue.
Travel, lodging, and nutrition for our athletes and coaching staff.

Let’s go SCC!Space Coast Crew is the sport team of Space Coast Crew Boosters, Incorporated, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, established in 1996 to promote the sport of rowing among Brevard County scholastic students in rising grades 5-12. The team was initially formed in 1989 with 22 young women as a club under the direction of John Harbaugh and head coach Pops Atkinson.

Space Coast Crew started when multiple High School rowing teams in Brevard County came together to share resources and equipment. What started as a collection of multiple teams quickly grew to become one club team. From there, the club grew to add more and more student athletes and competitive programs and divisions. Today, over 25 years from our founding, our club serves Elementary, Middle, and High School student athletes from all over Brevard and we run programs for roughly 150 Youth student athlete members between all our programs. We are committed to teaching rowing while simultaneously using the natural lessons that come with our sport to teach youth how to work hard, be patient, and set goals.

We are a parent run, volunteer organization with a professional coaching staff. We depend on parents, community volunteers, and community donors to operate, manage, and maintain our wonderful programs.
