Play isn't just fun. It's how children learn who they are.

Research tells us that 80% of brain development happens before age 3. Spellbound Theatre exists to make those early years rich with wonder, story, and connection — for every child, regardless of zip code or income. We create opportunities for children to play, explore, and imagine alongside others, and invest in their capacity to connect, empathize, and create.

When you give to Spellbound this spring, you're not just supporting a show. You're playing it forward: passing the gift of a magical, formative experience to the next family.

Most Spellbound work is free for families to attend, and we never let cost prevent a family from enjoying a Spellbound experience. Offering high-quality, free and low cost programming is only possible with the support of individuals and our Spellbound community

"Play it Forward" with Spellbound!

Spellbound Theatre brings joy, wonder, and connection to families and young children every year; this spring, help us bring that play and joy to families across New York City and beyond.
