We are excited to introduce the Society for Pediatric Interventional Radiology (SPIR) Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to expanding access to safe, minimally invasive care for children around the world.

Pediatric interventional radiologists use medical imaging such as ultrasound, X-rays, CT scans, and MRI to guide tiny instruments through a small opening in the skin instead of making large surgical incisions. This allows them to diagnose and treat many conditions in infants, children, and adolescents with less pain, smaller scars, and faster recovery.

Every child deserves access to the best possible care, regardless of where they live. Your donation helps train physicians, support groundbreaking research, and expand access to these life-changing treatments in underserved communities around the world.

Our 2026-2027 Inaugural Campaign aims to raise $15,000 to:

Support physicians and trainees from underserved countries in attending the SPIR 2027 Annual Meeting, where they gain skills that directly benefit children in their communities.
Fund innovative research that improves the care of children worldwide.
