Have you been curious about Spiritual Direction?

Perhaps now is the time to try it. We have heard wonderful feedback from our Refresh Silent Retreat and our Head to Heart day participants about their experience with God through their 1:1 spiritual direction sessions. We also heard that time commitment and scheduling fatigue can get in the way. So we are trying this new offering to see if it would feel invitational to you.

What happens in a spiritual direction session? You enter into a conversation and a trusting relationship in which your director helps you to notice and respond to the movement of God as experienced in prayer and in the events of everyday life. Your director acts primarily as a listener, as a supportive person who can help you look honestly at your relationship with God as it is lived out in everyday life. The director listens in a non-judgmental, open way, knowing that the real Spiritual Director is God.

We are piloting Spiritual Direction Wednesdays for:

6/17, 6/24
7/1, 7/8, 7/15, 7/22, 7/29

Each session will last about 45 minutes and will take place in a Google Meet. Please select a 45 minute Spiritual Direction session. After selecting a date and time, a Google meeting invite will be sent to you and the Spiritual Director.

During this pilot, the supported rate is $40, the standard rate is $75. Register at least 24 hours in advance for the time slot you desire. If you are in a season of employment transition and this amount is not possible, or if you have any questions, please email cindy@wonderaloud.org.
