The Parks Foundation of Burgaw envisions a vibrant and inclusive community where every individual has the opportunity to thrive, connect, and flourish through a diverse range of recreational activities. Our vision is to enrich our communities' lives, where residents of all ages and backgrounds can come together to cultivate health, happiness, and harmony.

Consider donating today to help support our Splash Pad Community Fundraiser. The splash pad project has a fundraising goal of $150,000. This dollar figure is half the total cost of the project. Once this goal is met, the Foundation would look to make a charitable donation for this figure to the Town of Burgaw Parks, Recreation, and Tourism Department. Those funds would then be used to apply for matching funding from the Parks and Recreation Trust Fund backed by the Governor's Office and the State of North Carolina.

The Parks Foundation of Burgaw, Inc. is licensed with the North Carolina Secretary of State to solicit donations and sponsorships. The Foundation is a tax-exempt organization under section 501(c)3 of the Internal Revenue Code. Donors can deduct contributions they make to our organization under IRC Section 170. Receipts of donations will be generated with this account for filing.
