🪟 CLOVER NEEDS WINDOWS — AND WE NEED YOUR HELP! 🪟

That big building next to Clover has been a problem for us for a long time. Broken windows have meant constantly covering openings with plastic and wood just to keep the weather out. At one point, we simply couldn't keep up — and the exposure to the elements contributed to many of our sprinkler lines bursting. 💦🥶

And unfortunately, the windows on the first floor — right at street level — continue to be broken by vandals. We covered the majority of them with metal skirting that looks wonderful, but then a graffti vandal and a group of kids with a metal bar and rocks damaged it. But we still persist in making this the best looking building on the west side!

Our intent is to make this long brick building an event center on the top floor and a brewery/tap room/speakeasy on the industrial looking second floor. (We have left up the cranes and trolleys as well as an old school drill press, just for the right aesthetics!)

Now we're approaching another Ohio winter, and we need to get serious about replacing them.

There are 25 windows on each side of each floor, and we're looking at replacing at least 50 windows to get started.

Our current estimate is $629 per window, installed, with a lead time of up to 6 weeks. These are large picture windows, averaging more than 125" combined width and height. We chose picture windows because they are significantly less expensive than double-hung windows — and since these are on the second floor, they're also much safer. We don't need ventilation from them right now; eventually, we'll have AC in the building. Right now, our priority is keeping the winter OUT. ❄️

❤️ SPONSOR A WINDOW — $629

We're looking for 50 people, businesses, organizations, families, or groups who would like to sponsor a window.

For each $629 sponsored window, we'll place a plaque beneath the window with whatever you would like it to say — your name, family, business, organization, in memory of someone, or another message of your choosing.

50 windows × $629 = $31,450

That's a BIG goal, but we've learned that Clover's community can accomplish some pretty big things when we work together. 🍀

🪟 BUT WE'RE ALSO LOOKING FOR A WINDOW COMPANY!

If you're a window installation company — or you know one — we're also looking for someone who can beat our current $629-per-window installed estimate.

If you can help us get these windows installed for less, that could mean more windows replaced with the same amount of money.

Whether you can sponsor a window, donate toward the project, connect us with an installer, or simply share this post…

YOU can help us close the holes, stop the weather, protect the building, and keep Clover growing. 🍀

💚 REUSE. REPURPOSE. RECREATE. And now… REPLACE A WINDOW!
