About Women in STEM Leadership (WISL)

Women in STEM Leadership (WISL) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering women and underrepresented youth with the support, resources, and opportunities they need to thrive in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). Through leadership development, mentorship, education, networking, and career advancement initiatives, WISL equips current and future leaders to innovate, inspire, and drive meaningful change across industries.

Our diverse community includes students, educators, researchers, entrepreneurs, and industry professionals who are committed to advancing leadership, fostering innovation, and creating more inclusive pathways into STEM careers.

At WISL, we believe the journey to leadership begins early. While our mission is centered on advancing women into leadership roles from the classroom to the boardroom, we also recognize the importance of investing in the next generation of innovators by engaging underrepresented youth and exposing them to STEM education, mentorship, and real-world career opportunities.

This year, we are excited to offer a unique opportunity for high school students to attend our annual Women in STEM Leadership Conference. We aim to sponsor 10 tickets for these students, providing them with an invaluable chance to connect and network with female leaders and role models in STEM.

Why Sponsor a Student?

The annual Women in STEM Leadership conference is more than just an event; it's a movement to build capacity, nurture talent, and create a supportive community. This one-day conference is designed to empower every woman, and this year's theme, "You can't be what you can't see… Building a sustainable future through inclusive leadership," underscores the transformative power of visibility and representation in shaping the future of women in STEM.

By sponsoring a student, you are not only giving them access to this transformative experience but also investing in the future of women in STEM. Your support will help reduce barriers and provide professional development opportunities for these young women, enabling them to see the possibilities in STEM careers and leadership roles.

How You Can Help

We invite you to join us in this impactful initiative by sponsoring one or more students. Each ticket costs $125, and your donation will directly cover the costs for these students to attend the conference. In addition to attending speaker sessions, students will participate in networking events, a Dinner and Awards Ceremony, and an After Party, where they can celebrate the accomplishments of women in STEM.

Acknowledgment

As a token of our appreciation, all sponsors will be acknowledged on our website and in the conference program. You will also receive a special report on the impact of your donation, including stories from the students who attended the conference.

Join Us in Empowering the Next Generation

The WISL annual conference is a celebration of individual women and their accomplishments in leadership and entrepreneurship. By sponsoring a student, you are not only supporting their education and career aspirations but also contributing to a more diverse and inclusive STEM ecosystem. Your generosity will help create a future where every girl's voice is heard, her contributions are recognized, and her dreams know no bounds. Every donation, no matter the size, makes a difference and helps us reach our goal of sponsoring 10 students.

Thank you for considering this opportunity to make a difference. We look forward to your support in empowering the next generation of women in STEM.

Make a tax deductible donation today and partner with us to invest in a future where STEM is for everyone.
