Theatre Victoria: Changing Lives Through the Power of Performance
For nearly five decades, Theatre Victoria has been transforming lives through the magic of live theatre. What began in 1977 with borrowed garages and a handful of dreamers has grown into a vibrant company of 150 volunteers producing up to 10 productions each year.

As the resident company at the Leo J. Welder Center for the Performing Arts, and with performances at the Ethel Lee Tracy Park Amphitheatre and the Victoria Fine Arts Center, Theatre Victoria brings stories to life across South Texas.

Our mission is simple yet profound: to Entertain. to Empower. to Enrich. We believe theatre changes lives.

Youth Programs: From our Theatrical Academy and Youth Troupe to the Triple Threat Summer Camp, we nurture creativity and confidence in ages 4–18.
Adult Programming: Musicals, plays, and original works — invite audiences and artists alike to explore new perspectives.

Through partnerships with local arts organizations, businesses, and individuals, Theatre Victoria strengthens the cultural heartbeat of our community. Together, we set the stage for a brighter, more connected South Texas.

Theatre Victoria operates as Victoria Community Theatre Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization governed by a Board of Governors elected by our membership.
