Help Us Stop the Cycle Before Kitten Season Explodes

Every spring, kitten season hits Union County--and with it comes an explosion of homeless cats.

Unspayed cats give birth to litter after litter, often outdoors, without care, and without homes waiting on them. Within just a few short years, one unspayed female cat and her offspring can lead to hundreds of kittens struggling to survive.

The Cobden Spay & Neuter Coalition is determined to change that.

This spring, we launched Spayapalooza 2026, an ambitious campaign to spay and neuter 100 cats during March and April. By preventing these births now, we can stop hundreds of kittens from being born into suffering.

But we need your help.

Even with discounted veterinary services, surgeries, vaccines, and basic care add up quickly. To reach our goal, we need to raise $10,000.

Every dollar raised goes directly toward spay and neuter surgeries for stray, feral and owned cats whose caregivers cannot afford the cost.

This is the most humane and effective way to reduce suffering and control cat overpopulation.
