At Halo K9 Behavior, we take in the dogs who are out of options—the frightened, the shut‐down, the ones who have lived through emotional trauma and no longer know how to trust. We give them time, structure, compassion, and the chance to show who they truly are. But doing this work is not simple.

There are real hurdles we face:

• Shelters and rescues cannot afford boarding or behavior assessment fees.

• True behavior evaluation takes months—not days.

• We provide this service at no cost because without it, these dogs would have no chance.

This no‐cost support saves lives. But it puts tremendous strain on our organization. Right now, we are caring for dogs from rescue organizations that had no place else to turn. We have dogs adopted from shelters who displayed heartbreaking behavior that their new families didn’t know how to navigate. We have dogs pulled from shelters at the final hour, simply needing the second chance no one else could give them.

We are doing everything we can. But we are drowning. We are tired. And some days, it feels like a battle we can’t win.

The truth is: we cannot continue this mission without you.
