Back in the fall of 2019, our fantastic event coordinator, Kate Wagner, dreamt up the idea of bringing Golden lovers together for a meet-up—and it was an instant hit! So much so that it turned into a semi-annual event that our volunteers, adopters, GGRLC friends, and of course, our Goldens, eagerly look forward to every Spring and Fall. We only had to pause for 2020, but now we're back and better than ever!

We're thrilled to announce that the Spring 2025 GGR Low Country Golden Retriever Meet-Up will be our ninth one, and we can't wait for a fantastic turnout! 🎉

Join us outside under the beautiful shade trees for great company, delicious crafted beer from Hobcaw, and mouth-watering food from a food truck. Our incredible volunteers have organized a raffle with amazing prizes up for grabs. Plus, some of our Goldens available for adoption will be making an appearance in hopes of finding their forever homes. 🐾

We're lucky to have the talented Bobby Carrier capturing all the fun and smiles with his camera, so you won't want to miss it!

All proceeds from the meet-up will go towards the medical care of our rescued Golden Retrievers. 💛

Grateful Goldens Rescue of the Low Country (GGRLC) is a not-for-profit, full service, all volunteer rescue group committed to placing unwanted, abused, neglected or homeless Goldens in qualified forever homes where they will receive a lifetime of love and care. GGRLC started in 2004 and operates in the Coastal South Carolina area. Since 2004, GGRLC has saved over 2,500 homeless goldens.

We have been awarded GreatNonprofits 2024 Top-Rated Nonprofit status by our adopters, donors and volunteers and have earned our Silver Seal of Transparency with @CandidDotOrg.
