It's time for cinéSPEAK's Spring Glow Up! We're calling on our beloved community to support our ongoing work: using film to build community and strengthen movements for collective liberation.

We believe in the power of collective action. Just like mutual aid, we rely on our networks to sustain this work in a time of increasing censorship and attempts to erase our communities.

We’re asking if you can share a little bit of what you’ve got, be it $5 or $50. Every dollar helps us create spaces for celebration, learning, and collective organizing – spaces where we can feel hope, honor the resilience and creativity of those who came before us, and connect with our neighbors and friends.

This year, we’re announcing and launching our new venue in West Philly where we’ll be doing year round programming, debuting a new website, producing the 5th annual Under The Stars Festival in Clark Park, hosting our 3rd annual cultural critics fellowship with our journal, and producing several dozen independent film screening collaborations.

We need our community’s help to move money into the hands of artists–the filmmakers, moderators, and DJs that make our events so special. Every year, over 70% of our funds go directly to artists and cultural workers, the rest supports all the logistics to make it happen.

Let’s build the world we want where artists are valued, and there are spaces to share our stories.
