Due to an overwhelming response, we have closed registration for Centennial-specific activities on Friday and Saturday. The community is still welcome to join us during the schedule Homecoming Football Game at Lloyd Busch Memorial Stadium with ticket sales available at the door. We look forward to seeing you there!

One Tribe. 100 Years.

Stafford High School is celebrating a century of Tribe pride, tradition, memories, and community with a special weekend-long Centennial Celebration October 9-11, 2026. The milestone celebration will bring together generations of alumni, former staff, current students, families, and friends to honor the people and experiences that have shaped Stafford High School over the past 100 years.

For 100 years, Stafford High School has been a place where generations of students have learned, competed, performed, built lifelong friendships, and discovered their path forward. The Centennial Celebration is an invitation to everyone who has been part of that story to return to the place they once called home.

A Weekend of Celebration

The Centennial festivities will begin Friday, October 9, with a Centennial Tailgate and Homecoming Football Game at Lloyd Busch Memorial Stadium. Alumni and members of the Tribe community are invited to gather before the game for a special tailgate featuring celebratory appetizers prepared by Stafford High School’s award-winning culinary program, led by Chef Joshua Raven. The festivities will continue as the Tribe takes the field for the homecoming football game.

5 p.m.: Tailgate begins at Stafford High School. First 100 alumni and guests will receive a Centennial Rally Towel for the game.
6 p.m.: Stadium gates open.
7 p.m.: Josh Ball takes the field for the coin toss.
The game is expected to conclude at approximately 9:30 p.m., depending on play.

The celebration continues Saturday, October 10, with a Centennial Cookout and School Open House. Guests can enjoy food and fellowship, tour Stafford High School, explore memorabilia and historical displays, and reconnect with classmates, former teachers, and friends. The event will provide an opportunity to share stories and memories from generations of Stafford graduates.

11 a.m.: Doors open for school tours and memorabilia showcases.
Noon: Lunch is served by the culinary program in the Senior Courtyard.
1:30 p.m.: The event concludes.

The weekend will conclude Sunday, October 11, with a Centennial Reunion at The Gauntlet Golf Club (18 Fairway Dr, Fredericksburg, VA 22406), an evening dedicated to celebrating Stafford High School’s legacy and looking toward its future. Alumni, former staff, community members, and friends are invited to gather for an evening of recognition, reflection and celebration.

4–6:30 p.m.: Reunion celebration.
