Stafford High School is celebrating a century of Tribe pride, tradition, memories, and community with a special weekend-long Centennial Celebration October 9-11, 2026. The milestone celebration will bring together generations of alumni, former staff, current students, families, and friends to honor the people and experiences that have shaped Stafford High School over the past 100 years.

For 100 years, Stafford High School has been a place where generations of students have learned, competed, performed, built lifelong friendships, and discovered their path forward. The Centennial Celebration is an invitation to everyone who has been part of that story to return to the place they once called home.

A Weekend of Celebration

The Centennial festivities will begin Friday, October 9, with a Centennial Tailgate and Homecoming Football Game at Lloyd Busch Memorial Stadium. Alumni and members of the Tribe community are invited to gather before the game for a special tailgate featuring celebratory appetizers prepared by Stafford High School’s award-winning culinary program, led by Chef Joshua Raven. The festivities will continue as the Tribe takes the field for the homecoming football game.

The celebration continues Saturday, October 10, with a Centennial Cookout and School Open House. Guests can enjoy food and fellowship, tour Stafford High School, explore memorabilia and historical displays, and reconnect with classmates, former teachers, and friends. The event will provide an opportunity to share stories and memories from generations of Stafford graduates.

The weekend will conclude Sunday, October 11, with a Centennial Reunion at The Gauntlet Golf Club (18 Fairway Dr, Fredericksburg, VA 22406), an evening dedicated to celebrating Stafford High School’s legacy and looking toward its future. Alumni, former staff, community members, and friends are invited to gather for an evening of recognition, reflection and celebration.

Calling All Stafford Alumni Home

Stafford High School is encouraging alumni from every generation, from the day doors opened to today, to participate in the Centennial Celebration. The school is also inviting former teachers and staff members, current and former students, parents, grandparents and members of the broader Stafford community who have helped shape the Tribe over the past century.

Invest in the Next 100 Years

The Centennial Celebration will also help support the future of Stafford students through the Centennial Fundraiser. Proceeds will support academic scholarships, athletic programs, student activities, and other opportunities that enrich the student experience. Individuals, businesses, and organizations interested in supporting the Centennial Celebration can become sponsors or make a contribution to help ensure the legacy of Stafford High School continues to benefit future generations.
