This spring, we invite you to Stand with Dancewave to ensure that youth, regardless of financial capacity, are granted access to transformative and socially-conscious dance education.

Our mission is to provide free and flexible annual tuition to 25 youth from under-resourced communities to join the Dancewave Company program, a year-long, pre-professional dance training program that couples rigorous training with artistic development and performance opportunities.

Our training embraces student-centered learning and positive youth development, providing young artists with unrivaled mentorship. Renowned NYC choreographers guide students through Social and Emotional Learning-focused dance education, empowering them to pursue college and careers in the arts as emboldened artist citizens.

You can ensure that no youth is left without access to life-changing dance education by:

1. Purchasing a ticket to attend Dancewave’s Spring Celebration performance event on June 4th
2. Paying it forward by subsidizing a ticket for a low-income student and/or family
3. Sponsoring Dancewave’s Spring Celebration performance event at a level that suits your needs
4. Peer-fundraising via Facebook, Instagram, Givebutter, or another platform
5. Asking your employer to match your donation
6. Purchasing a print or bidding on an original painting by artist Michael James Freedman.

100% of proceeds will help sustain our commitment to reprioritizing students based on drive, dedication, and passion rather than financial ability.
