About North Stars Band, Inc.

North Stars Band, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) booster organization made up of parents, music educators, and community partners supporting the extracurricular band program at North High School in Sioux City, Iowa.

We work directly with the band directors to remove financial barriers, coordinate essential operations, and give students access to meaningful performance and educational opportunities.

What We Do

Program Funding

We fund essential program needs, including instruments, masterclass clinicians, specialized instructional staff, and other resources that directly support student growth and performance.

Logistical Coordination

Our volunteers coordinate equipment transportation, uniform distribution, student meals, and other behind-the-scenes needs for performances and travel.

Community Events

We organize major regional events, including the annual STARFEST marching band competition. Proceeds from STARFEST help keep band opportunities accessible to North High students.

Send a shoutout, celebrate the students taking the field, and support the North Stars Band.
