Things are tough in the world right now. And things are tough in Pueblo.

About half of Pueblo households are "income restrained," meaning having an income that is not enough to cover the basic costs of living. And we know both kids and adults face many challenges- drug use and crimes related to drug use, slashes in funding for education, and many times, a negative, pessimistic attitude from people (in town and out).

Steel City Theatre Company is here, trying to carve out a safe place for kids and adults that is positive and encouraging. Unfortunately, we've also been bogged down in recent times- increasing costs, including rent on spaces that keep our kids safe and productive, and a staff that has less and less time for outreach and marketing- we're drowning.

So, we brought our company members together to make a plan for the future, to ensure the sustainability of our programs and presence in the Pueblo community. We're looking for 1000 people to donate $100. Help us continue creating a place for community in Pueblo.
