Celebrate and support recovery from addiction by participating in Recovery Partners of Vermont (RPV)'s new annual virtual step challenge event! 50% of proceeds will go to Kingdom Recovery Center, located in the birthplace and childhood home of Dr. Bob, the co-founder of Alcoholics Anonymous in St Johnsbury, Vermont. Challenge:

Create a fundraising page. Scroll up on this page. Next to "Team Members" click on the blue and white box that says "Fundraise" to set up your fundraiser page.

Set a step goal. Choose a goal for the number of steps you will take between Monday, June 3rd and Sunday, June 9th. All steps count, whether it's around your neighborhood, in the mall, or part of your workday! Tips on setting a step goal.
- Wheelchair users are welcome to participate! Many steps trackers will automatically convert your distance wheeled to steps. If yours doesn't, however, you can use an odometer and convert the distance to steps. 1km = 1250 steps
Fundraise. Share your page's custom donation URL with your friends and family and ask them to support your efforts. Be sure to tell them why you're doing this and your step goal. People can contribute during the challenge as well. Fundraising will end on Sunday, June 9th at 11:59 PM.
Track your steps. Steps can be tracked on your iPhone via the Health App or on an Andriod via the Step, Pacer Pedometer, or Step Tracker. Fitbits/Garmins and pedometers can also be used to track steps.

Prizes:

Most Funds Raised: Either a certificate for one night at Killington Resort for two plus one day of golf with cart for two people plus 1/2 gallon of maple syrup from Gadapee Valley Sugarhouse OR $300 cash.

Most Steps: A Norris Wool Throw blanket from Johnson Woolen Mills plus a $50 gift card to Cold Hollow Mill in Waterbury.
If the winner is from outside of New England, we will ship the blanket to you.

In order to be eligible for the Most Steps prize, you must submit your steps to us as follows:

Take a screenshot or photo of your total step count from Monday, June 3rd through Sunday, June 9th. This can be done in whatever app or tracker you used.
- Wheelchair users, if your tracker automatically converts to steps, you can simply submit your tracker photo/screenshot. If it doesn't, submit a screenshot of your odometer distance.
Email amanda@vtrecoverynetwork.org by Monday, June 17th with your total number of steps, your first and last name, and the step screenshots/photos.
