Strategic Insurance Partners is hosting a 5k walk in honor of all the families that are part of the Mission: Kid Success (MKS) community and especially our very own, Lia Chalet.

Lia Chalet was diagnosed with Autism at the age of 2 years old. Nicole and her family took immediate action in obtaining vital services needed to help Lia overcome the everyday challenges. In this turn of events, Nicole saw firsthand on how much therapy, treatment and specialized care can affect a family. Nicole and Leo not only provide care for their daughter but also became advocates to the cause that helps families that are left with financial burden due to the significant cost, especially when insurance only covers a small portion of the services. As the SIP family, we want to also be part of the cause and help the organization as much as possible to make an impact.

Please join us in donating to MKS, for every dollar helps a child receive care. You can donate on behalf of an employee walker or a flat amount to the cause, link below. Here is an idea on how the donation can impact a child:

$50 helps provide one specialized therapy session
$150 support a month of tutoring for a child
$500 provides critical evaluations or multi-session therapies.

About Mission: Kid Success

Since 2019, Mission: Kid Success (MKS) has been a lifeline for families struggling to afford the essential therapeutic services their children with Autism and related conditions desperately need. These therapies—speech, occupational, behavioral, and educational support—are not just helpful; they are life-changing. However, many families face the harsh reality that insurance covers only a small portion of these costs, leaving them with difficult decisions about their child’s care.

As an all-volunteer organization, with all administrative expenses covered by our board members and generous sponsors, every dollar raised goes directly to providing services for children in need. To date, MKS has awarded over $140,000 in grants, helping more than 40 local children gain access to the therapies they need to grow, learn, and thrive. But the need is greater than ever. Right now, there are grant finalists—children waiting for funding—who require immediate access to these critical services. Without financial support, they may face delays in receiving care that could significantly impact their development.

The Strategic Insurance Partners’ Steps for Success 5K is an opportunity for the community to come together and make a real difference. Every dollar raised helps provide therapy sessions and specialized support, ensuring that financial barriers do not stand in the way of a child’s potential.
