Ask anyone who's made it through a hard season. It's almost never the big things.

It's your baby brother's laugh. Your dog losing his mind at the door like you've been gone a year instead of an hour. Your grandma's Friday morning phone call, the one she never misses. The lyric that said the thing you couldn't. The concert ticket on the wall, three months out, giving you a date to hold on for.

The little reasons people stay are rarely little at all.

That's what #StickWithMe is about.

#StickWithMe is a national Superbands campaign— in collaboration with Hopeless Records, Hot Topic, and Gibson— collecting those reasons, out loud, all in one place.

This year, we're inviting people across the country to share theirs: the person, the pet, the song, the small ordinary thing they held onto when everything else felt heavy. Every story lights up a live map of the U.S., reason by reason, on September 1st to kick off Suicide Prevention Month until the message is impossible to miss: wherever you are, whatever you're carrying, you are not the only one. And there is more holding you here than you think.

In October, we turn all of it into a national video and a first-of-its-kind report, proof of something we don't say enough: staying is built out of small things, and everybody's list is different, and every list matters.

Why a music nonprofit is doing this.

Because fans taught us. Superbands has spent nearly a decade at the intersection of music, fandom, and youth mental health, and if you've ever watched a fandom hold someone up on their worst night, you know: young people are already experts at finding the small reasons and sharing them with each other. The belonging, identity, and hope they build around the things they love aren't nice-to-haves. They're protective factors, the real, research-backed kind. This campaign takes what fans do naturally and gives the whole country a place to do it together.

Since 2016, we've reached over 500,000 fans alongside nationally recognized partners. And this campaign opens our boldest chapter yet: we're building mental health support that works the way young people actually live. Digital-first. Culture-fluent. Designed to meet a generation inside the music, the moments, and the platforms they already love, instead of asking them to walk into a room that feels nothing like them. Most of mental health is built for where young people are supposed to be. We build for where they are. #StickWithMe is the first proof of what that looks like at national scale. It won't be the last.

Every dollar helps us reach more young people, powers the story map and submission platform, and funds the October report that turns thousands of small reasons into evidence the mental health world can act on.
