STREB, INC. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that relies on generous, tax-deductible donations to support our artistic, community, and education programming.

The STREB Lab for Action Mechanics (SLAM) is our home in Brooklyn where all the ACTION happens. It's a multipurpose space and gathering place for creative exchange that engages kids, parents, community and its leaders, artists, and people like you everyday.

Your support is vital as we continue to activate our mission and ensure that our programming thrills participants, audiences, and students, and that it reaches the widest community possible.

Contributions to STREB support all that we do, including:

New program availability for both kids and adults– including drop-in options where kids can explore new classes that might not always fit into busy schedules and Adult Open Gym, where participants can launch their STREB ACTION journey by learning PopAction techniques, Flying on the Trapeze, and Jumping on the Olympic-sized trampoline.
Partnerships with community organizations and schools, like our immersive experiences, in-school residencies, SLAM Show Inclusives, and open rehearsals where visitors can watch the creative and practical process as it unfolds.
Sharing STREB EXTREME ACTION performances with the world (Hello, Australia!) and our own community here in Brooklyn – everything that goes into the production of making Elizabeth Streb’s artistic vision possible - the dancers and the crew, weeks and weeks of rehearsal time reconstructing and developing the work, and technology and supply costs.
Scholarship opportunities for our growing community that ensure broad, equitable access to all of our programming.
A more robust system to cultivate and nurture our artist community through greater rental capacity in our space that allows us to serve displaced artists who have been affected by the shuttered doors of other arts spaces and through our monthly, curated performance series ‘Friday Nights at SLAM’ that allows artists to share their work with the public.
