Support The Annual International Stretto Piano Festival, Stretto Piano Concerts, and our global, musical movement of pianists, venues, manufacturers, and enthusiasts who perform on, promote and own "stretto" pianos with narrow keys and who are changing the world of music with these new pianos!

Pianists with small and medium-sized hands want pianos that fit them and they are now playing music they never could play before experiencing a stretto.

Our movement grows exponentially with each concert event, exploding from our annual 10-day event to more than two months in 2025, all of October and November. Our fifth year has presented more suprises and joy than ever, and -- yes -- its' been a lot of work with growing expenses.

2026 will be even more exciting ~ new and familiar artists are reaching out to discuss their dates for the October 2026 festival and the events leading up to it.

We are thrilled to share news about more than seven global piano manufacturers who are now offering "stretto" narrow key pianos in showrooms and via custom order. Influenced by the global stretto piano movement and our annual concerts, stretto pianos are nearing standardization, a lifelong dream of pioneers who have worked on this initiative for decades.

Highlights from the 2025 festival:

Our first invitation from a commercial pop venue in NYC took place on October 19 at beautiful City Winery NYC, Both Sides Now: The Music of Joni & Hannah, featuring hits by Joni Mitchell and originals by Hannah Reimann. Soloists, virtuoso pianist Eric Clark and Jazz composer Yaniv Taubenhouse, were guest artists that event, representing the multi-genre effort at Strettos Piano Events' home base, New York City. NYC also presented shows at Pearl Diver Sound in Brooklyn with John Virag, Spectrum NYC (contemporary classical music), and a show in May 2025 announcing the festival with chiild prodigy Chelsea Solis.

Dr. Carol Leone presented several lecture demonstrations in Europe with Ulrike Wohlwender and her students, in Innsbruck, Austria with professor and pianist, Annette Seiler, where the stretto trend is rapidly growing.

Our first concerts in Amsterdam and various events by the newly formed Japan Narrow Key Piano Society included concerts from Tokyo, concerts from Kyoto, concerts from Niigata, and An Event with Professor Koji Tanaka at Niigata University which included lecture demonstrations and talks.

Australia presented three multi-artist concerts with kids, renowned pedagogues Glenn Riddle and David Soo, virtuosos Brenna Wee, Camila De Oliveiros, and many children.
