Our games community has suffered some critical hits this year. The ripple effects of widespread layoffs in the games industry amidst an ongoing national mental health crisis mean that game creators and gamers need support now more than ever.

That's where we come in. As six community based organizations that serve people who make and play games, we’ve teamed up to launch the Stronger Together In Games initiative. Our mission? Fund our critical work to make the games industry more diverse and inclusive, foster professional growth and skill development, and support the mental health of game lovers and creators.

Global Game Jam empowers established and emerging game developers worldwide to collaboratively create video games at virtual and in-person events, fostering creativity, community, inclusivity, and career development.

The International Game Developers Association (IGDA) supports and empowers game developers all around the world in achieving fulfilling and sustainable careers, fostering their professional growth and industry advancement through networking, resources, advocacy, and community.

IGDA Foundation promotes diversity and inclusivity within the game industry, providing programs, resources, community and opportunities to underrepresented, aspiring game developers and anyone who wants to work in our industry.

Take This promotes mental health awareness and support within the gaming community, offering resources, education, and advocacy to address mental health challenges.

Game to Grow utilizes the power of games to provide therapeutic and social skills programs, helping individuals, especially children and adolescents, improve their emotional and interpersonal well-being.

Women in Games International empowers and advocates for women and marginalized individuals around the world through transformative networking experiences, educational programming, and access to continuing career growth opportunities in the video games, tabletop, and esports industries.

The demand for our services is skyrocketing, and we never back down from a challenge. We are determined to help our gaming community thrive now and in the future. To achieve this, we need your support.

Ensure that mental health resources and opportunities to find community remain available to those who need them most
