Why Your Support Matters --

Blue River Pet Rescue operates without government funding — everything we do is carried by the compassion of people who care. But behind every adoption and every success story are the harder realities we face every single day.

Right now, we’re caring for dogs who need more than just shelter — they need treatment, time, and patience. From ongoing medical care like heartworm treatment and injuries that don’t heal overnight, to animals returned to us needing extra training, the needs don’t stop. These situations aren’t rare… they’re becoming what we see every day.

Our volunteers, witness firsthand how often animals end up here through no fault of their own. We step in because they don’t have anyone else — but saying “yes” means finding a way to support everything that comes with it.

By supporting Blue River, you’re doing more than helping individual animals — you’re supporting spay and neuter awareness, encouraging responsible pet ownership, and strengthening a community that believes animals deserve better.

Your support helps us continue showing up, continuing the work, and continuing to give these animals the care and second chances they deserve.

When you support this event, you’re not just taking part — you’re standing with the animals who need someone to fight for them. 🐶💙
