The Bernard N. Frank Foundation was established to carry forward the legacy of Bernard N. Frank, whose life was defined by service, leadership, generosity, and a deep commitment to helping others.

After living with Parkinson's disease for more than two decades, Bernard inspired those around him through his resilience, optimism, and determination to make a difference. His example continues to guide the Foundation's work today.

Founded by his daughter, Karen Frank, who was later diagnosed with Young Onset Parkinson's disease herself, the Foundation was created from a shared belief that meaningful philanthropy should create opportunities and impact that endure for generations.

The Foundation supports organizations including the Davis Phinney Foundation for Parkinson's, programs, and initiatives that improve quality of life for people and families affected by Parkinson's disease through education, care partner support, scientific inquiry, community engagement, innovation, and access to practical resources.

We believe that the strongest impact comes from strengthening exceptional organizations, helping successful programs grow, reaching underserved communities, and investing in ideas that improve lives today while building a stronger future for tomorrow.
