Sunbloom's mission is to grow the games industry into a safer and more equitable space by fostering community and providing opportunities for marginalized game developers, with a current focus on BIPOC devs. We do this by:

facilitating a 1:1 mentorship program for game developers, focusing on individuals with 1+ years of work experience, through our Full Bloom Mentorship program
providing passes to game conferences, including GDC: Festival of Gaming & Game Devs of Color Expo
hosting local and online events that offer support and solidarity for our community

With your generosity, we'd like to:

provide further support to our Scholars, making conferences more accessible (stipends, travel costs, etc.)
develop new programs, including our informational interview series
hire speakers and pay our contributors (we are currently fully run by volunteers!)
and more!
