Hearthstone Bridge exists for the moment someone has nowhere left to turn — and needs more than one night indoors to find their way back to stable ground.

We're a Springfield, Ohio nonprofit working toward a long-term vision: to bring a shelter and transitional housing to our community. Our first move forward is an 8-bed women's transitional house — a safe, structured place where women can stay long enough to truly rebuild.

What sets it apart is the program behind the door. Every resident moves through a structured, four-phase program with her own case manager and an individualized plan — making real progress across housing, employment, benefits, education, legal needs, and mental health and recovery. We don't just offer a roof. We walk alongside people until they can stand on their own.

Right now we're searching for the right property, and adapting as we go to find a home that truly fits this mission. We'd rather get the first house right than rush the people who will one day depend on it.

That's where you come in. Every gift moves us closer to opening that first door — and to the day a woman in crisis has somewhere to go, and someone walking with her. Thank you for building Hearthstone Bridge with us.

Need, Vision & Impact

Three short sections you can use as their own paragraphs on the page (or on a case-for-support one-pager). Add real local numbers wherever you have them — a sourced figure makes the Need section hit harder.

The Need

In Springfield and across Clark County, too many of our neighbors face a night with nowhere safe to go — and for women in crisis, the options are especially thin. Losing housing is rarely a single problem. It arrives tangled with lost work, health and recovery, legal trouble, and broken support systems, and a single night indoors does nothing to untangle it. People don't just need a place to sleep. They need time, stability, and someone in their corner long enough to rebuild — and right now, that kind of help is in short supply here.

The Vision

Hearthstone Bridge is working to bring a shelter and transitional housing to Springfield, Ohio. Our first move forward is an 8-bed women's transitional house — a safe, structured home where women can stay long enough to actually get their footing. Inside, every resident moves through a structured, four-phase program with her own case manager and an individualized plan, making real progress across housing, employment, benefits, education, legal needs, and mental health and recovery. The goal isn't a longer stay. It's a stable, independent life on the other side.

The Impact of Your Investment

Your gift turns that vision into a front door that opens. Right now, every dollar moves us closer to securing the right property and standing up the first house — the walls, the beds, and the case management that make the program real. When you give to Hearthstone Bridge, you're not funding a one-time handout; you're investing in the full journey of a woman rebuilding her life, and in a model Springfield can grow from. Give once, give monthly, or share this page with someone who believes, as we do, that everyone deserves a way back.
