The Original Source.

The Original Source exists for two purposes.

First, to break down barriers to accessible mental health services through the provision of sliding-scale therapy, where clients can access therapy at a rate that is far below market price, bringing lifesaving mental healthcare within reach.

Second, we raise funds that support researchers in psychology and social work programs, where work is being done to further our understanding of how injustice is associated with negative physical and mental health outcomes, and how treatments might be tailored to bring relief to these people. These funds help create grants that will support the many costs that come with research, from providing financial incentives to research subjects for participation in studies, to the costs of publishing the results of research in open-source academic journals.
