Every child is His treasure

About 300 children live on the streets of Kotido, Uganda. Partnering with local churches, we bring them a daily meal, care, and the love of Jesus, so every child can grow up to bless others.

Why we’re here

“We love because He first loved us.” 1 John 4:19

Jesus is the root of everything we do. A meal fills a child for a day, but knowing they are loved by God changes a whole life.

We pray first. If the Lord isn’t in it, we build in vain. Every step starts in prayer, with local believers.
We share God’s word. With local churches, children hear the gospel and are discipled in it.
We love them by name. Local believers walk with each child, not just once, but for the long road.

Why Kotido

About 300 children live on the streets of Kotido town. 74% of people in Karamoja live on less than $1 a day, and 1 in 6 young children in Kotido is acutely malnourished.

Most of these children have families. Many are on the street because their family is poor. So we serve the whole family, too.

How a child grows with us

Rooted. We meet children where they are, pray with them, and share the good news that they are known and loved by God.
Nourished. A meal every day, plus clothes, shoes, soap, and a doctor or dentist when a child needs one.
Growing. Children grow in God’s word with local churches, and we help them back into school.
Belonging. Where we can, we reunite children with family. Where a home isn’t safe, we work with child protection.
Bearing fruit. Older youth learn work and business skills, and grow up to provide for their families and bless others.

Around every child, we also work for strong families and communities: work, business, and farming skills for parents and older youth; walking with local churches and leaders; and clean water and farming that last.

What $50 a month covers

It costs about $50 a month to care for one child. Every gift goes into that care.

A meal every day: $15
Doctor, soap, clothes: $10
School fees and books: $12
Discipleship with local churches: $5
Local team and transport: $8

These are averages from our 2026 cost estimates for Kotido. Not every child needs a doctor or school fees each month, so gifts support the whole daily-care program, and we meet each child’s needs as they come.

Every partner hears from us, every month

Each field report shares what we spent, line by line, how many children we served, what we learned, and the mighty works God is doing.

A letter from us

Dear friend,

In March 2026, we crossed paths on a mission trip to Uganda. In Kotido, we met children living on the streets, full of joy, curiosity, and promise. We believe every one of them is His treasure, chosen by God to bless others. Would you help us show them His love?
