Sometimes hope begins with something as simple as a hot meal and someone willing to ask, “What’s your name?”

Grace & Grub Ministries is a mobile food ministry serving seniors, people experiencing homelessness, children, families, and others facing difficult circumstances. Our food trailer allows us to go where the need is and provide hot meals, kindness, and fellowship at no cost.

There are no complicated qualifications and no hoops to jump through.

All are welcome at the Grace & Grub table.

Food may bring people to the table, but people are the heart of our ministry. Sometimes the most meaningful thing we offer—after a hot meal—is looking someone in the eye, learning their name, and reminding them that they have not been forgotten.

Why We Serve

Our mission comes from Jesus’ parable of the Good Samaritan.

The Samaritan saw a hurting person, was moved with compassion, and took action. He treated the man’s wounds, carried him to safety, and made sure that his care continued.

The Samaritan could not remain there indefinitely, so he provided the resources that allowed someone else to continue caring for the injured man.

That is also an important part of going and doing likewise.

Not everyone can prepare meals, pull a food trailer, deliver food, or sit down and listen to someone’s story. But those who provide financial support make it possible for others to do that work.

Jesus concluded the parable with four words that have become the marching orders of Grace & Grub:

“Go and do likewise.” — Luke 10:37

Help Us Continue and Expand the Mission

Business and community partners make this work possible. Your generosity helps provide food and serving supplies, fuel and equipment, insurance and repairs, and the resources our volunteers need to serve effectively.

We are also working toward three important goals:

Pay off our ministry towing vehicle

We have approximately $14,000 remaining on the vehicle used to tow our food trailer. Paying off this balance would allow more of every donation to go toward meals, fuel, outreach, and helping people directly.

Expand our cold-storage capacity

Additional refrigerator and freezer space would allow us to receive and safely store larger donations of fresh produce, meat, and other healthy foods.

Develop home delivery

Many seniors and people with limited mobility cannot come to us. We want to create a dependable delivery network that brings meals, encouragement, and human connection directly to these neighbors.
