That's what The Seedling Fund exists to change.

We acquire privately-owned daycares and preschools from retiring owners — schools that would otherwise be sold to corporate chains or closed entirely — and convert them to 100% employee-owned schools through an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP). The teachers and staff who have poured their careers into these schools become the owners.
