Support Ferguson Uprising Political Prisoner Josh Williams Returning Home!

Josh Williams is being released in early November - let's put some funds together to help smooth his transition back to freedom!

From Josh on his imminent release:

"Thank you for all your support and love you all have been so very loving caring and beyond words in expressions I can't express enough how much I love you all your fire I'm the gas throughout these 11 years I couldn't had done it without yall. This has really opened my eyes to alot shit I have not seen are knew what was going on but now I know and now we gotta work so thank you. Now we 2 months out to go home so I need help to get my dream off the ground, a youth center and studio."

Josh Williams is the only remaining political prisoner from the Ferguson/St. Louis uprisings. He was an on-the-ground activist and protester that helped lead one of the largest movements against police violence in modern history. A few months after his 19th birthday, he was convicted and sentenced to a crime with almost no evidence. His unjust and harsh sentence was an attempt to intimidate the movement and make an example out of him. Josh has continued to speak truth to power and use his voice to unify communities against oppression.

All funds will go directly to Josh in full. You can donate via Venmo @midwestsolidarity or via Givebutter at https://tinyurl.com/bdcv6fvh. ** Make sure to write "For Josh" in the note section on Venmo.
