Gavin has never been one to fade quietly into the background. Intelligent, curious, and full of personality, he has a way of turning an ordinary moment into something memorable. Whether he is testing a gate, searching for a treat, or helping a rider discover a new skill, Gavin brings energy, humor, and joy to Unbridled Paths.

Meet Gavin

Gavin is a 22-year-old Warmblood and retired jumper whose show name was Prada G. After an accomplished jumping career, he found a new purpose as a therapy horse.

Around the barn, Gavin is affectionately known as our “Houdini” because his clever mind is always working. His curiosity and playful personality make him a favorite among riders, volunteers, and visitors.

Gavin also shares a special friendship with Willow. Their companionship is another reminder of the trust and connection that horses offer so naturally.

During lessons, Gavin helps riders remain engaged, work through challenges, and celebrate their progress. His intelligence encourages riders to communicate clearly, stay focused, and build confidence—all while enjoying the experience.

Help Provide Gavin’s Care

Caring for Gavin costs approximately $12,000 each year. Donations to his campaign help provide:

Feed and hay
Supplements
Veterinary care
Farrier services
Dental care
Grooming supplies
Training and exercise
Daily care and support

Supporting Gavin means caring for far more than a retired show horse. It means giving a clever, engaging partner everything he needs to continue helping riders learn, laugh, and believe in themselves. Your gift keeps Gavin healthy, comfortable, and ready to turn each lesson into a joyful step forward.
